June 29th Directed by: Ryan Gosling This is tough to rate. You can tell Gosling and Refn are BFFs, this movie has that same sleazy feeling Only God Forgives does, in the way where everything is weird but so base level weird that it just seems fake? The same oversatured look as well, which is not even really something I dislike but I'm complaining about it anyway. I really don't know how I feel about this one but there are some undeniably nice visuals and that's kind of all I can really say about it.
